Mr. Durga Tamang

Executive Director ( Himalayan Unforgettable Adventure

Mr. Durga Tamang is the Executive Director at Himalayan Unforgettable Adventure and one of its founding members. He grew up in Gatlang, which is situated in the picturous Langtang region 165 km north of Kathmandu. Beautiful Gatlang is one overnight stop on the famous Tamang Heritage Trail which is known for its cultural depth and scenic views. Langtang lirung, Sanjen Himal, Tibet renge.  The Language he speak Tamang, Tibetan, Nepalese, English, Spanish and Français.

He has been working in trekking tourism and for more than 24 years guiding groups to Langtang, Gosaikunda, Annapurna, Mustang, Manaslu, Everest,. In 2011 He established own trekking Company Hes feel very close with USA in Americas and Europen friends Spain, French, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Portuguese, Austria, Netherlands, Australia. As well he got the chance to do trekking in Nepal. He is intimately familiar with numebers local traditions, customs and languages of all the major trekking areas. He loves to share his cultural insights with clients that are not covered in any guide book. For his work, he has always received outstanding reviews and the highest degree of appreciation.

Durga is also a highly engaged social worker. In rural villages of remote places such as the Rasuwa district people mainly live self-sufficient and often the food that is grown (mainly barley, wheat and potatoes) is often not enough to feed its inhabitants during the four harsh winter months let alone financing education for the youngsters. Being a half orphan himself and coming from a very poor background Durga knows of the importance of receiving a decent education and started his mission for the new generation. In order to support the people of his home district Rasuwa he established the local NGO “Rural Tourism and Environment Education Society” (RTEES Nepal) in 2009. The organization is aiming to enhance the economic capacity of rural communities by eco-friendly and qualitative tourism. The gain from this ultimately goes to the schools and children of the communities. RTEES Nepal is therefore proud to support five schools, Buddhist Monastery and is actively involved in local development.

Mr. Bipin Lama

Bipin Lama is not new name to the Nepal Tourism Industry. He has been involved in this sector for more than seven years and he has specialized on adventure treks and activities. He knows the main tourist destinations as well as the less familiar corners very well. He has been guiding people from many different countries and is always enthusiastic to make personal friends of his valued guests, not only to share their travel experiences but also to take the opportunity to provide a better service for clients via Himalayan Unforgettable Adventure. To achieve life – long ambitioned clients, he is running the company with a new and innovative management concept which covers the provision of excellent services by making our guests feel at home in a place far from home.

Mr. Mingmar Tamang

Trekking and climbing guide

Mingmar has been holding his professional guiding licence for the last 24 years and has been leading uncountable treks to all areas of Nepal and places in Tibet. If you are planning to climb some Himalayan peaks he will be the person to go with as he has not only guided people to the top of Ama Dablam and Island Peak but many others as well. His friendly nature and inspiring openness will make you feel as if you just found a long lost friend.

Pasang Tamang

Trekking guide

Pasang was born and grew up in the Langtang Rasuwa district of Nepal. He began his career as a trekking porter in 2000 and has not only trekked around his home district but he has also done treks to Everest and Kanchenjunga basecamps, the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu circuits and the Dolpo region. He is an energetic youth and a super member of our guide team. When not out in the open he also supports us in the office.

Kale Sherpa

Trekking guide

Kale is our expert for the Everest region as he was born and grew up there. He doesn’t only have 40 years of trekking experience but he is also an excellent cook. If he is not guiding you in the shadow of the world’s largest mountain he will be providing you with great Nepali food on other treks or expeditions.

Nyima Chhomo

Female trekking Guide and management

Nyima Chhomo Jangba is our adorable female guide. She is daughter of Durga. She have experiences of trekking to different region and you will love to be on the road with her. Born in the mountain region of Langtang area, she knows the area very well. She did Trekking mani times in the place like Everest Area  and Langtang area. Nyima will make sure that your journey will feel like home town as something that will be in your lifetime memory. Most of the times she Organize Trekking and meet clients Welcomes and Final departures ( or customers) too and  she as well as go trekking with clients if  possible she have times have to do Trekking with clints. Janga Tamang

Krishna Tamang
