Show All DetailsIt stands for a reason that the Jomsom-Muktinath trek is very popular. It is unbeatable in beauty and diversity. The diverse landscapes and cultures to be found along the trekking route give a marvelous insight into the way of life of rural Nepalese people. For a long time, the trek follows the Kali Gandaki river which formed one of the deepest gorges in the world and is carrying water from the Tibetan plateau to the Ganges in India. The trek also emerges to the north of the main Himalayan range, on the dry, desert-like Tibetan plateau of Mustang. A several days walk beyond Jomsom, takes you the final destination, Muktinath, the holy temple. This trek allows access to the high mountains of the Himalayas within a reasonable timeframe and without ascending to extreme altitude.
This wonderful trip can be done any time of the year especially as the upper part of the trek is sheltered from the monsoon rains by the Annapurna range.
We make sure that the trek suits both your schedule and desires. Therefore we are offering two options for the trek. You can either fly to Jomson to walk back or you can walk up to Muktinath and fly back from Jomsom.
All our guides and porters are experienced, licensed and covered by insurance.
