This trek is one of well Adventure this trekking in Everest Area of Nepal- Combined Treks of Gokyo valley Ri, Chola pass( 5310m) and Trek up to Everest base People from Tibet walk all the way down to Namche to sell their homemade stuff and salt to trade. The most wonderful experience would be to explore this area during the end of monsoon season when flowers pop out in Nangpala, giving the trekkers the illusion that they are walking on textured carpet.
The Gokyo Lakes region at the head of the Dudh Kosi Valley provides a great alternative to the popular Everest Base Camp trek. It is a more tranquil trek through the Sherpa heartland that affords ample time for acclimatization with opportunities to savor mountain panoramas. The highlight of the trek is our ascent of Gokyo Ri. From the summit at over 5000m, we gain superb views of Everest as well as the 8000m peaks of Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu in Tibet. Many trekkers will argue that this is one of the finest views in the Himalayas The awesome bulk of Everest dominates the skyline and for those motivated, late afternoon or early morning is a fine time to make the climb above the shimmering lakes to the top of Gokyo Ri to capture the sunset or sunrise over one of the most awesome spectacles the Nepal Himalaya has to offer Salary Everest Base Camp Trek.

About trip information Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu
The flights Lukla always were organized from KATHMANDU, but they took this decision due to traffic. The peak times of the Everest trek fall in March, May, September, and October. Hence, the Lukla flight from Kathmandu during those times is instead through Ramechhap.
The choice of transportation modes between Kathmandu City and Ramechhap district is limited. We will discuss the best ways to get to Ramechhap from Kathmandu.
One option is to use a private jeep or regular bus service if the ground journey is more appealing. Privately owned cars or jeeps guarantee flexibility and comfort, and you are free to choose which type of trip you would like to take. This will cost you around USD 200. Around 4-5 people can be accommodated in a private jeep. You will hop on to the jeep at around 2 OR 4 in the morning and arrive at the airport at 8 or 9 in the morning.
You can either hire a private car from Kathmandu to Ramechhap or travel by a tourist jeep which takes 4-5 hrs depending on traffic and road conditions. The option for a private car may cost much more than a shared jeep or bus could have charged. Hiring a private car to Ramechhap will cost you around USD 150 in total.
To book a private vehicle, you need to contact the agencies operating private booking services since there are no online booking services.
The main issue you may find with the public bus is that you need to start your journey at probably 1:30 am or 2 am. A public tourist bus will cost USD 30 per person and take around 7 hours to reach Ramechhap from Kathmandu.
We recommend you to have a few more days after the trek in case the flight is delayed or canceled. If you have a tight schedule, it will be hard to manage your return flight. So, even the trip days 16 days, we recommend you to have 2 to 3 extra days. If the flight does not happen for 2 to 3 days, then we will divert you to Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Kathmandu to Pokhara flight for your benefit.
