Hide DetailThis trek heads from Lukla to the Sherpa towns up north. We spend time in the mountain village of Namche Bazaar which was a famous trading center between Tibet and Nepal. From Namche, we head up to the holy village of Thame, Khumjung Tengpoche. This has long been the religious center for all inhabitants of the Solu Khumbu area. There are numerous shrines and a beautiful monastery, sits at 3870 meters. You will take your time heading back to Lukla and there are many options for extra side trips. This trek takes 8 days up with some up and down hiking. We can see the panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and AmaDablam.
Trekking in Everest region, Jiri Everest Base Camp is breathtaking and requires a good walking experience and a good physical health condition. This trek is very interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8152m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde Khumjung etc.
Settlement of mixed ethnic group Brahman, Chhetri, Magar, Tamang in the low land and Sherpa in the highland of Solukhumbu Everest region. Jiri to Everest base camp trek cover low land from Jiri to highland Kalapathar 5545m.
Most people heading to the Solu-Khumbu region are intent only on getting a close-up glimpse of Mount Everest and often take a plane into Lukla. However, the trail from Jiri to Namche, though not long on mountain views, does pass through numerous interesting villages that are now visited by a small number of trekkers each year.

Drive Kathmandu to Ramechhap Getting from Kathmandu to Ramechhap is quite an adventurous experience. You will bid farewell to the crowd and concrete of Kathmandu for a rustic and rural side of Nepal. The first section is through the six lane highway to Bhaktapur. Past Bhaktapur, the two lane road climbs gradually past satellite towns to the Dhulikhel hill station. Here, you leave the Arniko highway and get on the B.P. Koirala Highway. It is also here that the road becomes narrow with a lot of hairpin bends. However, the scenic hills, farms and villages more than make up for it. For the last half of the ride, you will also get to enjoy the view of the Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi Rivers. Now that you know what the ride is like, here are various ways you can make it happen. However, before we get into the details here is a brief summary of a the various ways. About trip information Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu
Flight to Everest trek includes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Sometimes the weather of Lukla becomes bad, at which time the flight cannot take place. So, in this case, there may be delay or cancelation of the flights. You will have to be prepared for this. IF the flight is canceled, you can go other trek like Tamang heritage trail or Annapurna trekking. This does not always happen but may sometimes happen depending on the weather condition. The weather of Lukla is unpredictable, that’s why.
We recommend you to have few more days after the trek incase the flight is delayed or canceled. If you have tight schedule, it will be hard to manage your return flight. So, even the trip days 17 days, we recommend you to have 2 to 3 extra days. If the flight does not happen for 2 to 3 days, then we will divert you to Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Kathmandu to Pokhara flight for your benefit.
In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Himalayan Unforgettable Adventure. The charges must be paid by the clients themselves. We also recommend you to have extra budget for helicopter charter to return back from Lukla to Kathmandu. The helicopter cost is 3600 USD charter flight. It will be approx 550 USD per person which is pay us cash.

Day 01Arrive Tribubhuwan International Airpot in Kathmandu( 1300m).Transfer to the hotel, will organize a Welcome Dinner at an excellent traditional Nepalese restaurant where we enjoy a Nepalese cultural program as well as a fine meal. Included meal: Dinner (D, B )
Day 02Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,652m/ 4 hours 4 hours 8,700ft): 3-4 hours trek (Trekking times only).It is a short and scenic flight of 35 minutes. The take-off takes place from Tribhuwan International Airport domestic. Sometimes, we have our flights disturbed due to unfavorable weather condition. For this we have to be patient. Upon our arrival at Lukla airport, we meet our entire team and along with porters and we begin Trekking to Phakding. Phakding is located at the lower elevation than Lukla it's around 4 hours. This trek today is on the flat and descent. Overnight in Phakding at teahouse. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B,L,D).
Day 03Phakding to Namche Bazaar 6 hours (2840m).We in the morning after breakfast; we start to Namche Bazzar Walking through a beautiful pine forest. Today, we enter into Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site located at the highest elevation in the world. Jorsalle is the entry point where we get our National Park Entry checked. Then, the trail ascends to a suspension bridge. After suspension bridge, the trail is all the way up and steep and we finally gey Namche. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar at Teahouse (B,L,D)
Day 04One day rest of Acclimatization and - Hiking to Everest View Hotel 4 house.Acclimatization at Namche is very crucial. If we go quickly to the higher elevation in the mountain, we may get altitude sickness. Today, we take a walk around Namche, walk upto Hotel Everest view you can see Mt: Mount Everst. And also visit Sherpa International Museum. Besides, we explore beautiful Khumjung village with our guide learn about Sherpa culture and the various plant and animal life of the Everest region. Day 05Namche Bazar to Thame VillageToday, we trek to Thame and explore monastery and the village and then explore entire Thame village. Trekking to Thame is a not difficult trail, however, we sometimes, have to deal with the narrow slippery trail. When we arrive at Thame, we feel as if we are a part of a spiritual journey. Overnight stay in Thame at Teahouse (B,L,D
Day 06Thame to Khumjung (3840m):-6/7hours. we have breakfast in early mourning. We ascend up just above Namche Bazar to get Khumjung village. On our arrival, we astonished to witness breathtaking mountain views including Mt. Everest, the top of the world. Overnight stay in Khumjung at teahouse.
Day 07khumjung to Tengbuche (3861m) 5/6 hours. Today, we trek to Tengboche from Khumjung. Actually, we do not really want to leave this beautiful village in the lap of the mountain. But we again have another serene village, Tengboche Monastery. Trekkers love to explore Tengboche monastery and its delightful premises view many peaks. Overnight stay in Tengbuche at teahouse.
Day 08Tengbuche to Monjo (2810 m) 6 hours.This day we reach Monjo first, we catch the trail going all the way down and then the trail going all the way up. Finally, we are happy to trek along the flat trail and get Namche then to Monjo with enjoying the downhill walks. It quite long walks. After passing Namche Bazaar on the way we reach Monjo and stay overnight in Monjo at a teahouse.
Day 09Monjo to Lukla (2840m) 4-5 hours walking distance around 11- 12Km)This is our final and last walk to the mountain. We prepare for the flight to Kathmandu. This is our last and memorable day in the Khumbu region also say goodbye to Sagarmatha National Park. We spend our night celebrating with Sherpa friends and their culture our victory over this adventurous trek here at Lukla. Look forward to the next day flight tickets.
Day 10Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, 45 minutesEarly in the morningWe fly back to Kathmandu which takes approximately 45 minutes. Transfer to Hotel. Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. The early morning flight drops us in Kathmandu airport and transport your hotel. We can rest and relax throughout the day at the hotel.

OPTION: After breakfast in the morning we go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. We are going to do the TOUR today which includes: Swoyambhunath - The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thes also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath- A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch as the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world; we come across men with ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look which is typical look of a Hindu Holy Men known as Sadhus. Boudhanath- the biggest Buddhist temple in the world; a site for Tibetan Buddhism where we can visit monasteries, watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple. Patan Durbar Square- A Medieval Royal Palace area which is also known as the city of fine arts, we can see the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.
