Hide DetailDeveloped by the Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme, the Tamang Heritage Trail offers an in-depth look at the culture of the Tamang ethnical group (originally Tibetans who came into Nepal during the Salt War).
The trek is unique, culturally rich, includes historically famous sites such as the Tatopani (Hot Water) Springs and passes close to the ancient fortress of Rasuwagadhi. In many villages, it is possible to stay in peoples’ homes. Overall it is not a too strenuous trek.
We at RTEES Nepal and Himalayan Unforgettable Adventures have made it our mission to introduce eco-tourism to the area. Therefore we organize several clean-up treks throughout the year. On the way, we collect garbage and take it back to places where it can be recycled. In addition, the trek focuses on sensitizing the local population on the issues of preserving their environment and offer solutions.
[Langtang, Gosaikunda, Helambu!] This trip fundraises for the activities of TREES Nepal including the introduction of a water and sanitation project in the village of Gatlang and the improvement of education for the children. Himalayan Unforgettable Adventures supports the trek regarding marketing and logistics and also provides porters and guides.
Come and join us for a life changing experience – with Himalayan Unforgettable Adventures!
